Mark it Marquette will come up with another big win on the road. They can really ill afford to lose many more games if they want a good seed in the Big East and in the NCAA tournament. Marquette really has played a difficult road schedule this season and their wins come over teams that are better than St. Johns or on the same level as they beat Cinci, Providence, and Uconn. The road losses are all tough games with the exception of a 2 point slip up against Depaul. As they lost @ Syracuse, Nova, West Virginia and Wisconsin. St. Johns is 8-4 at home with quality wins over Louisville, Depaul, and Cinci, but when they have had to play top teams they have lost to Seton Hall, West Virginia, Nova, and Providence all by big numbers. If you take their 8 home wins and average the RPI of the opponent it equals 186. Marquette will be the best three point shooting team St. Johns faces all year and that could be a problem considering St. John's is giving up 40.7% from beyond the perimeter in their last 5 games. Marquette has shot well ont he road from the perimeter at 42.7%. Their main issue has been rebounding and defending the paint. St. Johns shooting just 28.8% at home and does not have much of a rebound advantage in conference play at +.2 rebounds per game.
